Pond & Waterfall Site Considerations: Because moving water captures all our senses the pond or waterfall should be located as the focal point of your landscape. An adjacent patio, deck, or gazebo allows you to enjoy your water feature to its fullest. Other site considerations include;

What Size? By some estimates 90 percent of ponds installed are later replaced with larger ones. Ponds can be constructed in all shapes and sizes to enhance any landscape. It does not take long after experiencing the enjoyment of water gardening to quickly find new plants to try and interesting fish to add to the pond. As a general rule of thumb an 11’x16’ is a good “standard size” for most applications. A garden hose used to layout your pond site will help you visualize what the finished size will look like in your landscape. Although most ponds can be enlarged, it is often disruptive and much more difficult and costly than installing a larger pond initially.

What Is The Cost? Many variables exist & influence the installation cost of a water feature. Size, perimeter landscaping and site accessibility will usually influence the price the most. Others factors that directly affect the cost include:

As you can see the variables are as varied as ponds & waterfalls themselves, each one becoming a custom creation, designed to meet our clients needs and desires. So what is the cost? A custom designed & professionally installed  water feature starts around $3,800 and can go as high as $50,000 with the average cost between $5,000-$7,000 A small investment considering that nothing in your landscape will stop and mesmerize people like the sight and sound of falling water!

"What People Are Saying" "We are delighted with our waterfall. It is a work of art. Chris's specialty is ponds and waterfalls which is unique amongst landscapers who often specialize in other kinds of landscaping and are not as skilled at water projects. He was extremely attentive to structure and appearance with excellent results.  He advised us on what would work best with our particular site and listened to what we wanted to accomplish-a north woods atmosphere. After installing the waterfall, His excellent landscaping capability finished it off.  He listened to our desire to use as many native plants as possible for the conditions. The results couldn't have pleased us more." Martin & Esther
